Cookie Tee is a popular Ghanaian television personality, event host, model, and philanthropist. She currently co-hosts TV3 Ghana’s morning show, New Day, along with Berla Mundi. She also hosts Today’s Women, Kitchen Wars, and Ghana Most Beautiful on TV.
Her real name is Shirley Emma Tibilla and she comes from the Northern part of Ghana. She started her career as an actress before moving to the media industry.

Cookie Tee Early Life and Education
Cookie Tee, whose real name is Shirley Emma Fatima Tibilla, was born on February 25, 1991, in Bawku, Upper East Region. She is a native of Bawku and belongs to the Kusasi ethnic group.
When she was three years old, she moved with her mother and sister to Kadjebi, in the Oti Region, where her mother worked as a teacher. They later relocated to Hohoe, in the Volta Region, where she lived with her grandmother and started her formal education.
Cookie Tee’s first school was Hohoe Gbohome LA School, where she completed her primary education. She then continued her education from Class 5 at Harrow International School in Abeka, Lapaz, a suburb of Accra.
She recalled that she struggled academically when she first enrolled in the school, as she could not even spell simple words like mango and friend. However, with the help of her mother and private tutors, she improved her performance and became one of the top students in her class.
After completing her junior high school education, Cookie Tee proceeded to St. Mary’s Senior High School, where she became the head prefect of the school. She excelled in both academics and extracurricular activities, such as drama and debate. She developed a passion for acting and media, which influenced her choice of course at the university. She gained admission to the University of Ghana, where she studied Theatre Arts and Political Science. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 2014.

Cookie Tee Career
Cookie Tee’s career started as an actress before she moved to the media industry in 2018. She joined GhOneTV, where she hosted various shows, such as “Guess Who Is Coming For Dinner”, “Toast”, and the new “Tales from the Powder Room”. She also featured in some movies, such as “The Perfect Picture: 10 Years Later” and “Fix Us” by Shirley Frimpong-Manso.
In 2020, Cookie Tee left GhOneTV and joined Media General, the parent company of TV3 Ghana. She became the co-host of TV3’s morning show, New Day, along with Berla Mundi, Johnnie Beresford Hughes, and Roland Walker. She also hosts Today’s Women, a show that celebrates and empowers women in Ghana and beyond.
Cookie Tee is also the host of Kitchen Wars, a cooking show on TV3 that features celebrities and chefs competing for the best dishes. She is also a co-host of the annual TV reality show Ghana Most Beautiful, which showcases the beauty and culture of Ghanaian women from different regions.
Cookie Tee has hosted various public events, such as the RTP Awards, 3Music Awards, and the 19th edition of the Ghana Club 100 Awards. She has also been a guest speaker at some conferences and seminars, such as the Women in PR Ghana Summit and the Women in Media and Communications Conference.
