He was born in 1982 and is the son of Kethireddy Surya Pratap Reddy, a former MLA of the same constituency.
He completed his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in computer science and engineering from Bharathiar University in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, in 2001.

Kethireddy was born in 1982 in Dharmavaram, a town in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. He belongs to a political family, as his father, Kethireddy Surya Pratap Reddy, was also a former MLA of Dharmavaram constituency.
He completed his schooling from Sri Satya Sai Higher Secondary School in Puttaparthi, a town famous for being the birthplace of spiritual leader Sathya Sai Baba.
He pursued his graduation in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) from Bharathiar University in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, in 2001. He specialized in computer science and engineering.
After completing his graduation, he returned to his hometown and joined his father’s business. He also got involved in social service and welfare activities. He developed a keen interest in politics and decided to follow his father’s footsteps.

Dharmavaram Mla Kethireddy Career
Kethireddy started his political career with the Congress Party, where he served as the MLA for Dharmavaram Constituency in 2009. He was one of the youngest MLAs in the state at that time. He worked for the development of his constituency and the welfare of the people. He also supported the cause of a separate Telangana state.
He joined the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) in 2011, following the footsteps of his father, who was a loyalist of late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. He became a senior leader of the party and campaigned for its victory in the 2014 elections. However, he lost his seat to Gonugguntla Suryanarayana of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) by a narrow margin.
He continued to work for the party and the people of his constituency. He raised various issues in the public domain, such as land grabbing, corruption, farmers’ distress, and water scarcity. He also faced several allegations and cases against him, such as attempted murder, extortion, and illegal mining. He denied all the charges and claimed that they were politically motivated.
He contested again from Dharmavaram Constituency in the 2019 elections, as the YSRCP candidate. He won the seat by a huge margin of over 40,000 votes, defeating Gonugguntla Suryanarayana of the TDP. He attributed his victory to the people’s trust and support for the YSRCP and its leader, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He is currently serving as the MLA of Dharmavaram Constituency. He is also the chairman of the Andhra Pradesh State Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society (APCO). He is focusing on the development of his constituency, especially the handloom sector, which is the main source of livelihood for many people. He is also implementing the welfare schemes and programs of the YSRCP government.
He is also aspiring to become a minister in the YSRCP cabinet. He has expressed his interest and willingness to take up any responsibility given by the party leadership. He has also claimed that he has the support and blessings of his father, who is his political mentor and guide. He is confident that he will get a chance to serve the state and the people in a bigger role.
