Hadiza Aliyu Gabon was born on 1 June 1989 in Libreville, Gabon. She is the daughter of Malam Aliyu (father) and Hajiya Halima (mother). Her father hails from Gabon, while her mother is Nigerian, originally from Adamawa State.
She started her acting career when she was featured in a Hausa film, Artabu, in 2009. She is famous for her roles in films such as Birthday Surprise, Le Pagne, and Ciki da Raino.
She has also won several awards, such as the Best Actress at the 2013 Best of Nollywood Awards and the 2nd Kannywood/MTN Awards in 2014. She presently serves as the founder of the Hadiza Gabon Foundation (HGF).

She also wrote her A-Level examination there with an aspiration to become a lawyer and later chose Law as her favourite degree course. She further took a step into the university but later dropped out due to some issues that trailed her studies.
She eventually attended a diploma programme in French language and later became a French-language teacher in a private school.

Hadiza Gabon joined the Hausa movie industry after relocating to Adamawa State, Nigeria. As her interest in the movie industry developed, she moved from Adamawa to Kaduna, where she made up her mind to join the Kannywood movie industry with her cousin.
With time, she met popular Nigerian actor and director, Ali Nuhu Mohammed and sought his assistance to launch her as an actress. She made her debut in 2009, where she was cast in Artabu. With the assistance and mentorship of Ali Nuhu, and later Aminu Shariff, she swiftly achieved a breakthrough in the Kannywood industry, establishing herself as one of the foremost female stars.
Hadiza made her debut in Nollywood in 2017, starring in her first Nollywood film alongside Mike Ezuruonye, Mark Angel, Josh2Funny, and the renowned Emmanuella in the movie “Lagos Real Fake Life.”
Since then, Hadiza Gabon has starred in over 100 films across both Kannywood and Nollywood. She is renowned for her versatility and adeptness in portraying a diverse range of roles. Alongside her acting endeavors, she has also achieved success as a director and producer in the industry.
