Kiran Navgire was born on 18 September 1994 in Solapur, Maharashtra. She is the daughter of a farmer and a housewife. She has two brothers. She grew up in a humble and hardworking family that supported her passion for sports.

Kiran Navgire was initially interested in athletics, especially javelin throw, shot put, and 100 meters. She participated in various athletic events at the district and state level. She also excelled in academics and secured admission in Savitribai Phule Pune University for her graduation.

She also took 7 wickets at an economy rate of 3.67. She made her T20 debut in the same season, playing 9 matches and scoring 99 runs at a strike rate of 90.82. She also picked up 6 wickets at an economy rate of 4.88.

Kiran Navgire switched to Nagaland as a guest player in the 2021-22 Women’s Senior T20 Trophy, where she had a phenomenal season. She played 14 matches and scored 813 runs at an average of 101.62 and a strike rate of 153.97. She also took 13 wickets at an economy rate of 5.51.
