He is the founder and Metropolitan Senior Pastor of the House on the Rock church, a megachurch headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. Adefarasin was born into the Adefarasin family in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria. His father is Nigerian and his mother is Jamaican. He is the son of the late Justice Joseph Adefarasin, a prominent Nigerian lawyer and judge, and his mother, Hilda Adefarasin, a women’s rights activist.
