He received the vision to start his ministry in 1992, after graduating from the Institute of Social Sciences in Moscow, where he studied social psychology. He hosted his first service in Apex Cinema Hall, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, in 1993.
Abel Damina established Power City International Church as the headquarters of his ministry, with a state-of-the-art facility that seats over 5,000 people. He runs three services every Sunday, preaching the gospel of grace, faith, righteousness, and the finished work of Christ.
He also founded Kingdom Life Network, a Christian satellite TV channel that broadcasts his daily program, Righteous Invasion of Truth (R.I.O.T.), to millions of viewers across Africa, Europe, Asia, and America. He also hosts conferences, seminars, and crusades around the world.
