He transferred to the Department of State Services (DSS) in 1986, where he served in various capacities until his retirement in 2010.
He was a State Director in eight states, namely Anambra, Akwa Ibom, Zamfara, Kogi, Edo, Oyo, Plateau, and Lagos.
