Sneha Shabarish started her career as an Assistant Collector of Siddipet district, where she worked under the mentorship of senior IAS officer and then collector P Venkatrami Reddy. She handled various portfolios, such as land revenue, rural development, education, and health. She also participated in the Haritha Haram program, a massive plantation drive initiated by the state government.
She was then transferred to Nagarkurnool district as the Additional Collector (Local Bodies). She was responsible for overseeing the functioning of the urban and rural local bodies, such as municipalities, gram panchayats, and zilla parishads.
